Future Developments
To ensure that Monte Rei continues to set standards that other developments
can only aspire to, we intend to add extra facilities as the development
grows - whilst still ensuring that the balance between the natural, unspoilt
landscape and building area remains the same.
A large part of the nearby coastline, almost to the Spanish border, is lined
by stretches of white sandy beaches and tidal marshlands which are an
integral part of the Ria Formosa National Park, a conservation area of great
beauty and ecological importance. In this protected environment and close
to Monte Rei Golf & Country Club will be a beach club.
This idyllic, restful retreat, well away from the hustle and bustle of high
rise hotels and holidaymakers, these 16 acres of beautifully landscaped
grounds will offer stunning views across the Atlantic, a golden beach and
sandbar where members can relax and enjoy the warm Algarvean sun,
a choice of water sports, access to a wide range of amenities and a large swimming pool.
There are plans for a luxury hotel with an extensive spa complex, an
equestrian centre and a stylish shopping centre to ensure that all our
owners have everything they desire close at hand. And, naturally, the
second Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses in
Portugal.
