Under the guidance of Chef Albano Lourenço with four different restaurants, two bars, and a host of private dining, corporate retreat and banquet options, the Monte Rei team are assured in providing a variety of culinary discoveries to suit every occasion.

Albano Lourenço

Albano Lourenço is one of the most respected Chefs within the Portuguese culinary scene and was one of the first Portuguese Chefs to be awarded a Michelin star. Focused on local and Mediterranean cuisine, he is true to his respect for the highest quality locally sourced ingredients, offering authentic culinary discoveries.

Bruno Flores

Director of Restaurants, Bruno Flores, manages the resort's restaurants and banqueting operations. Prior to his tenure at Monte Rei, Bruno spent 11 years working for The World, where he worked his way up from waiter to Restaurant Manager, holding this position for a number of years whilst managing four F&B outlets at the ship.

Nuno Pires

Sommelier at Vistas Restaurant, Nuno, is very proud of Portuguese wines, and he continuously strives to find the rising stars and the cult heroes of this extremely rich wine producing country.
